MICHIRU CCAP YOUTH ACTIVITIES

We have activities such as Preaching and Teachings, Bible studies, Bible sharing, Outreaches, Retreats, Sports, Manual work, Career Talks, and Intercessions.

Preaching and Teachings

We have teachings aimed at making the youth know Subjects that are tackled in the Bible, and enable them to live according to the doctrine of the word of God.

We invite guest speakers as well as amongst the youth members we are able to pick some who are able to teach others.

Bible studies

On Bible studies we pick one book from the Bible and study that particular book till we finish, here we want to help the youth to be able to discover God’s truth’s on their own, and even to share how their friends understand the Bible.

Bible sharing

Our main focus here is to train preachers and teachers of the word of God, one person is invited just to share any verse from the bible just for few minutes.

Outreaches

We go out to teach and to preach the word of God, this is our way of Evangelizing to the Lost, we do one day evangelism rallies, sometimes three days rallies. Hospital Visitations not forgetting Prison visitations.

Sports

Knowing that a youth also needs this part, we include games like football, volleyball and netball. We have a tournament that runs once a year this features all zones and they compete up until we find the number one zone, and that zone is awarded so that we promote physical fitness of our members.

Manual work

This helps the youth to be responsible, and also teaches Humility. We clean at the church, which involves cutting glass, hoeing, sweeping and sometimes mopping in the church.
