According to Church Moderator, the Seminar was organized in order to:
- Refresh the leaders of their leadership roles.
- Equip leaders with other skills.
- Give deeper understanding of the Word in order to lead as believers.
- Learn and apply Christ-like leadership skills.
It, therefore, pleased the organizers of this seminar to involve Rev. Watson Rajaratnam, a Missionary from Singapore, to teach these targeted groups on this one day seminar. And in his teachings, Rev. Rajaratnam divided his lecture into four parts:
- Call for Leadership.
- Challenges in leadership.
- Characters of a leader.
- Common mistakes of a leader.
At the end of the conference, the Moderator of the Church, Rev. Paul Mawaya, urged all participants to share the skills learnt and also to put them in practice in order to provide quality service to the masses. He also informed the participants that seminars like this one will be done quarterly in order to always have proactive and vibrant leaders as well as to receive feedback and addressing issues concerning leadership.
